Welcome to my online healthy & holistic cooking classes!

I am Chef Jeremy Rock Smith and I’m excited to bring the wisdom of Blue Zones and Ayurveda directly into your kitchen. These classes aren’t just about following recipes—they’re about learning to cook in a way that supports long-term health, vitality, and well-being.

By focusing on the timeless principles of these two traditions, we’ll explore how to prepare meals that are as nourishing as they are delicious. You’ll gain a deep understanding of foundational cooking techniques, enabling you to create dishes that are not only flavorful but also aligned with the holistic principles of longevity and balance.

Unlike traditional in-person classes held in professional kitchens, my online format allows you to learn and build muscle memory in your very own space. This way, you’re not just trying to recall what you did once you get home; you’re practicing in the exact place you’ll cook day after day.

How Our Live Online Classes Work

  1. Register for a class: Once you sign up, you’ll receive the Zoom link for the live session. One week prior to the class date, you’ll also get the recipes and any prep materials.

  2. Prepare for success: While you’re welcome to cook along during the live class, I suggest watching and engaging first. This way, you can focus on mastering the techniques and understanding the health benefits of each ingredient without the pressure of keeping up.

  3. Cook along with the recording: After the class, you’ll have access to the recording for 30 days, giving you the freedom to practice and perfect your skills at your own pace.

I’m Chef Jeremy Rock Smith

Internationally known as a good dude making good food, I’m a classically trained chef, healthy cooking expert and best-selling cookbook author.

Known for my signature style of cooking with a side of comedy, I serve as Culinary Ambassador for the Kripalu Center of Yoga & Health, Culinary Specialist at Miraval, and am on the faculty of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, D.C. My delightfully down-to-earth approach to whole foods cooking has brought me a dedicated following and esteemed tenures as Demonstration Chef at Canyon Ranch and Executive Chef at Kripalu.

I’m the author of best-selling cookbook, The Kripalu Kitchen: Nourishing Food for Body and Soul (2019). My humorous approach to nutritious & holistic living has earned me accolades in a range of publications including the Food Network Blog, HEALTH, Prevention, Yoga Journal and more. I’m also known for my fan-favorite appearance on Food Network’s Chopped in 2019. Recently, I was announced as the Culinary Camp Director at Berkshire Hills Culinary Camp.
